Re: Elite suito
I don't know if the cassette that comes with the Suito varies based on region and year. My Suito (purchased fall 2020, Canada) came with a 105, 11-speed 11-28 cassette, and it works with my bike (Giant Dey Advanced 2), which had a 105, 11-speed 11-34t cassette. I hope this helps!

Re: ELITE SUITO Heartrate monitor connection
The newer version of the Garmin (HRM-Dual) does both Bluetooth and ANT+.

Re: Any smart trainer apps that don't require a subscription?
I found that my Garmin Edge 530 can do all the things I need on my Suito such as FTP testing and Erg mode. The ANT+ connection seems to work much better than Bluetooth, especially around calibration. I see no reason to have a subscription to myETraining if you have a headunit already. In fact, I wou...

Re: Suito does not show Cadence Data in MyTraining APP
If you are using a secondary cadence sensor, there might be a problem with the sensor trying to broadcast in both ANT+ and Bluetooth. If you are using the Suito on its own, I have had no problems seeing cadence on my phone (via MyETraining App - Android). I have also managed to use a Garmin HRM with...

Re: Enter spindown number in the app
I have commented about this in a previous post with regards to the Suito, a direct-drive trainer. Since rider weight would seem to me to have far less impact on this type of trainer versus rollers, it would be great for other users to enter in the spindown number rather than run the calibration them...

Re: Suito - calibration
This what is working for me with my Suito (your mileage may vary!). The issue seems to be interference with the Bluetooth connection. When I calibrate my Suito, I turn off all Bluetooth devices in the vicinity except for what I am using to calibrate the training. Once you start the calibration routi...

Meaning of Resistance Levels in "Level Mode"
In level mode on my Suito, there seems to be 16 "levels" of resistance? What do the levels mean? Are they related to % grade, such as 1 equaling 0% and 16 equaling 15%? J

Is the trainer calibration "connected" to the trainer (Suito)?
So, I managed to do the trainer calibration on my Suito. It took some effort, but I think I understand how to do it (software not clear and a little flaky). My question is whether or not the "Spindown" value is "connected" to the individual trainer? This would avoid having to rep...
