Hey Elite Forum,
I have a Elite Suito, A Smartphone (Huawei p20), Laptop HP (new 2021), Garmin 820 edge + heartrate monitor.
Laptop and smartphone have Bleutooth, Garmin works with ant+ connection between gps and heartrate monitor but connects to smartphone with bleutooth.
How do I connect my heartrate monitor to my Smartphone and/or my laptop.
Step by step.
Thanks in advance

Re: ELITE SUITO Heartrate monitor connection
Hi
Your smartphone doesn't support the ant+ protocol, if I'm right. Check by installing the free app called "Ant Tester".
If it supports OTG connection, you can connect a usb ant+ dongle to your Huawei using a OTG cable.
Otherwise, the other option is to use a bluetooth smart HR belt instead.
On your laptop, you need a usb ant+ dongle to connect a ant+ HR belt.
If your laptop supports bluetooth 4.0 or higher, you can use also a bluetooth smart HR belt instead.
About the pairing, it's easy: you can pair it from the setting screen.
Regards

The newer version of the Garmin (HRM-Dual) does both Bluetooth and ANT+.
Re: ELITE SUITO Heartrate monitor connection
Hello,
i have a similar problem: Suito T, mobile phone Samsung A33, with Bluetooth 5.1, no Ant+. My Laptop is a 2012 Macbook Pro, Bluetooth as well.
Heartrate monitor is a Garmin HRM Dual, this is able to connect via Bluetooth and Ant+.
I used both mobile phone and laptop with Zwift, no problem to connect to the Suito, and to the HRM Dual.
Now i want to use myetraining, i have the app installed on the mobile hone, and on the Macbook. The Suito connects with no Problem, the HRM can be found by the app on the mobile phone (in the settings).
Did i miss any settings? Do i have to use an Ant+ Dongle?
With all the same components it worked with Zwift, but now with myetraining it fails ...
Any help is very appriciated!
Best regards
Martin

Re: ELITE SUITO Heartrate monitor connection
Hi Martin
If the heart belt is dual transmission (bluetooth and ant+) it should work smoothly.
Please contact the support to analyze the situation:
