Elite Turbo Muin Leaking

Postby Ressler » Wed Apr 28, 2021 11:38 am

Hello everyone,,
I've had the Elite Turbo Muin for just over a year now and recently, it's started leaking oil from the bottom of the trainer after each ride.

At first, this wasn't affecting the resistance or power numbers displayed on rides, however it's now seemingly affecting both factors. Additionally, more and more oil is leaking from the trainer as time goes on https://speedtest.vet/ https://vidmate.bid/.

I've contacted Customer Services and unfortunately, they've simply told me to replace the oil, which of course doesn't tackle the initial problem of the trainer leaking oil.

Has anyone had this issue before and know how it can be rectified? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,...

Hi

An oil leakage on Turbo Muin can have two causes:
1. a problem with the o-ring
2. a problem on the shell

In the first case, it's possible to replace the o-ring and add the oil to solve the problem.
In the second case unfortunately there's no much we can do... if the trainer is under warranty, you can ask a replacement.

To understand which one is your case, look at the following image and check from where the oil leaks.
Right arrow the cause is on the shell. Left arrow, it's on the o-ring.
