Suito does not show Cadence Data in MyTraining APP

Postby joe.devlin » Thu Feb 25, 2021 6:33 pm

Just purchased a Suito_T and all went well in setup, connected with app on iphone and Zwift and my Garmin, but it wont show Cadence in Power or Level Training mode on the App. It does show Cadence, Power and Speed in Zwift and on Garmin. Have disconnected and reconnected a couple of times but still doesn't show, any suggestions?

You connect your home trainer to garmin and an app at same time? Have you tried with the app only (without garmin)?

My experience with Garmin and Elite app

1)
Elite Suito connect with iphone and elite app: all sensors paired (cardio band by external manufacturer -decathlon)
Garmin indoor activity on my Fenix 5: ONLY cadence sensor paired. If the power sensor is paired with Garmin you will have a TROUBLE!

2) Elite Suito connect with Garmin: all sensors paired (cardio by Fenix)
No Elite app used.

3) next time I will try with PC, my E-training program and ant+ device to check possibilities.

1) good for workout/video with elite app

2) good for Garmin tracking

3) who knows? :-)

Ciao to everybody

If you are using a secondary cadence sensor, there might be a problem with the sensor trying to broadcast in both ANT+ and Bluetooth. If you are using the Suito on its own, I have had no problems seeing cadence on my phone (via MyETraining App - Android). I have also managed to use a Garmin HRM with MyETraining via Bluetooth and still keep seeing the cadence too (via Suito). I hope this helps. J

Thanks a lot. I agree with you, a problem exist with the sensor trying to broadcast in both ANT+ and Bluetooth.

But I believe that I solved with 1) or 2) ;-)

Hello,

There's no need to fit any sensors though because the Suito measures cadence, power and speed. It all connects via ANT+, FE-C and Bluetooth and is compatible with smartphones, tablets and laptops whether running on iOS, Android, Mac OS or Windows. It's all easy and hassle-free.

A little note:
Suito doesn't measure cadence and power. It calculates them from speed.
This is why some people prefer to connect an external cadence or power sensor.
When you configurate the trainer, you're asked if you want to connect external sensor: this option must be used ONLY if you have one of those sensors.
If you pair the trainer here, data won't be shown.
