Cassette not fitting flush

Cassette not fitting flush
I have a Direto X and I am trying to fit a 9 speed shimano 201 Cassette. I have used both spacers and it is not fitting flushly and there is a gap. When I use a 11 speed cassette I do not have this issue. Help please!!
