I have this trainer but there is no controllable option in zwift.

I have the misuro b unit but this just emits speed and power.

Do I need to upgrade the firmware to allow it to be Fe c+?

Turbo Muin is not an interactive trainer. It doesn't have a resistance control.
It can be connected in Zwift using the misuro B+, but you'll only see your speed and power.
