Hey, I'm looking for a way to program workouts to do on my saris smart trainer in erg mode. I can't find an android or iOS app that doesn't require a subscription to do this. I think if I got a Garmin or Wahoo computer I could do this.. but surely my smartphone or iPad has the capability https://snaptube.cam/ 9apps

I found that my Garmin Edge 530 can do all the things I need on my Suito such as FTP testing and Erg mode. The ANT+ connection seems to work much better than Bluetooth, especially around calibration. I see no reason to have a subscription to myETraining if you have a headunit already. In fact, I would suggest purchasing a computer like the 530 because you can use it outside too (yeah more money! ).
