Losing ANT+ connectivity

Postby harawalamaalchaiye » Thu Oct 07, 2021 1:05 pm

I have had an Elite Direto trainer for more than a year and love it. Recently, I have noticed that my ANT+ dongle has started to have multiple "drop outs" where during a training ride I lose connection between my PC (which is running Zwift) and my trainer. This results in a short period where the resistance falls off and my overall power drops https://speedtest.vet/ https://vidmate.bid/. For example, if I am doing the Zwift Epic KOM and holding 300 watts... the ANT+ will drop out and the resistance (which is used to represent the gradient of the climb) drops to zero and my power output drops. This only lasts for a couple seconds... then kick back in. Is this a known issue? Should I replace my ANT+ dongle? Switch to BT4.0? Thanks, cmk

Hi

Try to use an extension usb cable to put the ant dongle closer to the trainer and minimize interference.
Let me know if it is enough

Regards
