Optimizing Server Performance for AI and Small Machine Learning Applications
Posted: Tue Nov 25, 2025 8:32 am
Hi everyone,
I am trying to deploy some small machine learning applications on the company server, but I am having performance issues: RAM fills up quickly, CPU is sometimes overloaded, and data retrieval is slow.
Some solutions I have tried:
Reduce batch size during training.
Use temporary swap files to avoid crashes.
Optimize the cache on the database.
Question for the community:
Can anyone with experience in optimizing servers for AI/light ML workloads share tips or reasonable configurations?
Is there any monitoring software or resource optimization tools that can help speed up without upgrading hardware?
I would like to discuss finding a way to balance performance and cost. Looking forward to receiving sharing from those with experience.
