ERG mode and flywheel speed - Elite Suito T / Elite Square

Dear forum,
I´m experiencing issues while using my trainer with workouts.
I´m using a specific training software called ´Join´ and everything resistance wise seems to work but it looks like i can´t change ´gears´ to adjust flywheel speed.
The thing is, the flywheel is rolling quite slow, which results in efforts feeling much harder than otherwise.
When using a real bike on the trainer, you can just shift gears but when using my Square bike it should be all virtual and it looks like i can´t adjust flywheel speed when ´shifting´ just like on another bike.
I tried reaching out to Elite a while ago, but it looks like they don´t understand my question.
Anybody has a fix for this?
