Elite Direto Wheel Circumference

Postby Ressler » Wed Apr 28, 2021 11:44 am

I just set up my Elite Direto and I’m looking to properly set up the wheel circumference in TrainerRoad and my Garmin watch. I see in the manual that the wheel circumference should be divided by 12.1 https://trackeasy.fun/usps/ https://showbox.tools/ but how do I know my wheel circumference? There is no rear wheel attached that has any impact on the metrics (duh since it’s attached to the trainer) so shouldn’t it be defined by the trainer and not by the wheel that is currently removed from my bike?

Hi

The circumference value is needed to simulate the exact speed you'd have with your bike (and your rear wheel) outdoor.
The best thing to do is to measure it empirically, here's a possible way:

About your Garmin, if you connect to the trainer as a speed&cadence sensor, you'll have to divide the value by 12.1 (not in my e-training!)
