ELITE Nova Smart +

I am using a nova smart + for my indoor training and all has been good, for quite some time, in the summer the unit is put away, in a secure area(under my stairs) and then brought out when the clocks go back and the weather turns a little more chilly..

So this is exactly what has happened this year, same set up, same place, same bike and the same connectivity, bluetooth, ANT+, Zwift etc.. so the only thing at the moment to have changed is two fold

The red light at the unit, is flashing constantly, when when the unit is running on standby and when the unit is being turned, whilst the wheel is turning..
The initial starting calibration noise, is the same, a sort of cluncking noise, so a second and then the unit just does its thing..

Now the clunking noise is longer, and pretty constant whilst using the unit on Zwift, the resistance is erratic also, sometimes producing resistance when not needed and then returning to normal afterwards...

I have been on "mytraining" and calibrated the unit (Nova smart+) and stated that the unit is calibrated correctly.
So am a little concerned..

I don't see a reset button and have absolutely no idea on the software situation..
Could someone give some advice on what the best course of action would be to return my Nova Smart+ to its wonderful training aid best, so I can do some riding this winter
