Garmin Cadence Sensor 2 connects, but cadence = 0

I have the Suito trainer and the Garmin Cadence Sensor 2 that connects to the trainer using Bluetooth. Please note, My E Training shows the sensor is connected, however the cadence always shows zero. How can I correct this?
