Hi
I tried maprace to simulate some climbs in the alps, and found that if you go downhill, you dont have any benefit from "gravity". You stop even (0km/h) when you stop pedalling, even for -10%.
I really would like to use the pause to relax downhill like in reality, fill up my bottles and so on. This way I can not simulate correctly a real tour, regarding overall timing.
So I really would appreciate it when it could be fixed and behave like in reality.
Thank you
Stefan

Re: Map Race: downhill no benefit
Ok I think I found the answer myself: elite does deliver real speed, so it does not simulate negative slopes.
Also on my Garmin edge controlling the direto ithe sim stopped moving Downhill.
This is a bit disappointing that there is no firmware switch to enable grabity downhill, a energy based simulation. After all the direto should just report a speed to the Controller app?
Maybe bkool does better
