Volano Smart B+ and Misuro Connection

My Volano Smart B+ and Misuro have stopped connecting with myETraining app. I have replaced the battery in the Misuro and this the app registers a signal when I pass a magnet next to it. However when I install the Misuro in the trainer and start pedalling no signal is registered on the app. Do I need to replace a magnet? If so how?
