Elite Novo Smart underestimating watts

Postby stuartlaidlaw » Tue Oct 20, 2020 11:46 pm

I’ve got a Novo Smart which I’ve had for about 18 months and been totally happy with it using it on Zwift, all of a sudden on Sunday it started playing up.
When I pedal on the flat at 0% gradient it says I’m only putting out about 100 watts and I can only get up to about 15kmh, I’ve been using it long enough to know that that intensity of effort is around 250-300 watts. It feels like the resistance has jammed somehow.
Does anybody have experience of this, or even better a fix!
It’s very poor for a device to fail within 2 years.

I have the same issue! However I tried to do a calibration prior to my Zwift ride. Logged into Zwift.. would connect fine like normal then on the ride I struggled to get past 5-70watts? Anyone have a solution for this?

I'm also getting low watts, and hard to pedal. Resistance doesn't change when testing on the E-Training app.
I've taken off the cover and the panels of the side, and still cannot see anything moving when i plug in on first start up.
